Boy Scouts of America, 2015-2019
As a Boy Scouts member I learned how to work as a team. Troop activities included but were not limited to trail stewarding on BSA land, public parks/trail systems and local climbing crags. Educational activities included hiking, camping, watercraft sports, and backpacking trips. While on these trips I learned to demonstrate leadership skills and camaraderie through leading classes and teaching younger generations of scouts on skills and techniques such as proper first aid. I developed a love of service and community which has helped me to become a strong leader and life long learner.
