Alexander (A.J.) Delaney-Weathers

Milton,FL

Summary

Hello, my name is Alexander but I've been called A.J. my entire life. I am 37, Married, Father of 3. My wife and I own a beautiful home just North of Pensacola, Florida. I started in the trades while in Highschool with apartment turnover remodeling and home remodeling with my father. Over the last 23 Years of Being in the trades. I have been very blessed to have learned from those I would consider masters of their trade. Almost yearly I would be invited on a new journey in the trades usually for better pay and higher learning. In 2014 I decided to elevate my life by becoming a Union Ironworker. As you can see in my work history. I have worked for many companies. As a Union Ironworker you get to travel and work for multiple companies through out the year. Almost a free agent if you will. I have quickly moved up the ladder into leadership positions. I took a break in 2019 to pursue owning my own General contracting company. During that year I really came to understand the business side on project completion. I had 10 employees in 2 states on multiple sites. I always completed all projects to satisfaction. However the Union offered me more than I could offer myself so I went back to Ironwork. I do believe that this was a learning period intended to grow me as a better leader in hind-sight. I would be a great candidate for Project Management and Foreman positions. All of my skills have been developed with boots on the ground, and in-class education. I have always been a great fit in every company. I like to stay humble with a willingness to learn. Thank you for your time and consideration.
