• Flew scenic flights in the Grand Canyon Special Flight Rules Area in Airbus EC-130 helicopters.

• Seasonal employment for 4 austral summers and 1 austral winter at McMurdo research station in Antarctica.
• Prepared meals for upwards of 900 people. Daily tasks included breaking down whole vegetables and fruits to be used as components in both cold and hot dishes, preparing cold composed salads out of both fresh and leftover ingredients, making yogurt and other condiments from scratch, and maintaining a cleanly work environment.

• Ensured the safety and well-being of all personnel on McMurdo station in the event of a missing person or an emergency that goes beyond the scope of normal 911 firehouse/ambulance response.
• Escorted stranded persons from remote portions of the McMurdo station back to a central building during whiteout or other severe weather events.
• Conducted search and rescue missions for missing/overdue persons off of station using a Hagglund and Pisten Bulley vehicle equipped with GPS and FLIR devices.
• Trained to perform technical rope rescues of individuals trapped or injured in steep or otherwise hazardous terrain.
