Hired in as an embedded technician for Nvidia. My job responsibilities were completing small installs such as 200ft cable pulls to installing a door pack, reader, door contact, electrified lock, electrified hinge, and rex and programming the door and bringing it online. I also was in charge of service for the entire Santa Clara site. This was a total of about 15 buildings. I was in charge of all low voltage access control systems, such as Lenel, Milestone, Code Blue, and Automatic Systems turnstiles. I helped set up the facial recognition on the turnstiles with the Nvidia team. I also ran multiple jobs for the customer when big installs were being done.
I began working for Northland as an apprentice doing cable pulling and installs of mainly Lenel systems. I was sent to Lenel certification classes where I received my silver certification. I spent 5 years out in the construction field doing installs and learning how the systems worked form wiring up the panels/devices to trouble shooting any issues that involved programming changes. I worked at multiple sites such as Apple, eBay, PayPal, Kaiser and google. I began running 3 jobs for Autodesk in the year 2012, which I wanted to broaden my horizons and began learning more systems and devices.
