Recovery Hype LLC is a start up with the intention of providing mental health education in an interactive and meaningfully way to those who feel bewildered and fearful as they try to navigate eating disorder recovery."

Recovery Hype is meant to bridge the gap between access and available eating disorder support and care. Recovery Hype provides evidence and research based education and information surrounding various topics on eating disorders and comorbidities, support for individuals and loved ones, and provides a brave space for genuine and authentic connections to foster within the internet community.


Recovery Hype Squad is the Course. It is a sophisticated, inclusive, practical multimedia course designed to help loved ones navigate the diagnosis of an eating disorder. This interactive course attempts to build upon currently available resources/ research for those supporting someone through eating disorder recovery including:


  • Resources and information to understand your loved one's eating disorder
  • What is Diet Culture, and how does it affect the way we think about our bodies?
  • Research papers and articles from experts in the field to compliment the course.
  • Journaling Activities to support individuals as they work through the information.
  • Opportunities for self-reflection to examine your own relationship with food and body image
  • Basic Skills and resources/tools to assist someone in getting the help that they need for their loved one and more.


Recovery Hype aims to bring awareness and education surrounding such a prominent social justice issue while at the same providing skills and helpful resources to compliment families and individuals struggling with an eating disorder.
