Provides nursing care to orthopedic patients, including wound care, medication administration, & patient education.
Preceptor for new grads & Nursing students
Assessment of patients postoperative conditions, monitoring vital signs, wound healing and pain levels.
Education on post-op movements and care of Spine, Knees, Shoulders, Hips, & Bariatrics.
Collaborates with physicians in developing individualized treatments plans for each patient.
Post-op care and management of patient.
Monitors patient progress and reports changes to physicians.
Assists in educating patients, and family members on orthopedic conditions and treatment.
