My mother works for the state and takes care of special needs kids teaching and tutoring them, allowing them therapy and teaching them social regulations i’ve grown up around special-needs kids my whole life. I have a soft spot and I’m really talented at teaching understanding and being patient with any child or adult in need. On occasions, my mom would double book and I would take care of her clients helping with tantrums calming them down, letting them talk about their traumas, giving them advice and tutoring them.
I’ve done cheer all four years of high school. I’m currently cheer captain. I am a big part of student government. I volunteer at soup kitchens, homeless shelters, charity events make a wish foundation events the past two weeks. I’ve gone to elementary schools playing dodgeball with the class that donated the most soup/cans for our Super Bowl donation program, which we organized by ourselves and took weeks, as senior cheer captain, this past October, I volunteered and hosted a mini cheer camp, which I and the other senior cheerleaders created many routines for each grade of kids that signed up at the end of the three practices we were able to perform it at a football game in front of all their parents this was a wonderful experience that I have also volunteered at all four years of my high school career. I did debate my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I stopped doing it because I didn’t enjoy it too much but I did win two medals in speech in the ex exempt section. My junior year of high school I got the opportunity to travel to Vegas and I won a 1st place national title for cheerleading.
