Job/day Training Staff Member

Sonoma Industries
10.2022 - 12.2023

I picked up clients from their homes, and brought them to work/day training facilities.

I worked with and along side the clients, and offered a variety of structured supports as needed

I helped clients complete paperwork and did various paperwork of my own throughout the day

When at the job training, I helped perform various tasks and requirements pertaining to running a thrift store. Examples include compacting and sorting cardboard, and garbage and wheeling the dumpster out every garbage day, processing donations, helping customers find what there looking for, and check them out at the register, open the store and close/"break down" the register, lock up, etc.

I performed support staff duities by helping each team of individuals I was responsible for that day with their work performances, and tasks, along with various personal needs, and educational resource training.

I assisted with and helped organize outings, and also often times transported clients to and from events.

At Day training, I acted as support staff for individuals with a structured schedule of their needs for the day. Including but not limited to personal hygiene, feeding, communications of different varieties, making art, playing instruments, etc.
