I started at OHSU on 10K Neuro and was overseen by Eleanor Aquino and Morgan Lemen.

I learned a lot about the unit population and how to work in a hospital setting. Currently I am on 11D PCU as a CNA on the unit.

I take vitals, report any changes in patients, take them down to be picked up after procedures, provide any assistance to the restroom, assist with cleaning patients if needed. I assist nurses with all necessities within my scope.

• Communicated with case manager about any changes with patients or any concerns to give hospice patients the best care
• Promoted good oral and personal hygiene by aiding patients with shaving, bathing and any other needs as they arise
• Assisted with feeding and monitored intake to help patients achieve nutritional objectives.
