Job overview

In the Spring of 2023 the University of Washington Bothell underwent a financial transition which effectively accelerated the publishing timeline for the next issue of Clamor Literary Journal. Alexandria was hired on in a Peer Facilitator role with the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborated with Dr. Ching-In Chen, University Professor, to identify deadlines, areas in need of improvement, organize tasks and editor teammates.
  • Planned and facilitated workshops, classes, and editorial meetings; employed varied methods to maximize attendance and team participation.
  • Collected data on program effectiveness through surveying, implemented solutions for improvement and readjustments of deadlines when necessary
  • Provided leadership for 15 program workers and dozens of event attendees, guiding day-to-day activities and facilitating a positive product working and learning environment.
  • Served as a point of contact between Institutional Student Media teams, financial coordinating staff, third-party vendors, and the student body.
