
Cultural Anthropology graduate with minors in History, Marine Biology, Visual Arts, and TESOL. Experienced in office environments, customer service, creative workshops, childcare, food service, and cultural resource management. 40 hours/week
o Use a combination of GIS programs (ArcPro, Avenza Maps) and GPS (Garmin GPSMap 66st) across multiple devices to create location/survey maps, track surveys, and record site and isolate locations
o Create, use, and maintain physical and digital shared records of sites, artifacts, and historic texts stored within the HSRD office using Microsoft Word, Excel while complying with established record keeping systems within the Heritage Department
o Conduct physically demanding, intensive pedestrian survey to locate and flag new or previously recorded sites within project areas to maintain office records and protect sites during project implementation
o Pack in and pack out all materials required to locate and record sites in rugged, isolated areas, often under extreme weather conditions
o Coordinate with other forest departments and contractors to ensure archaeological sites are protected and offer advice during project work
o Physically identified and cataloged artifacts within the HSRD office
