- Process calls received according to policy and procedure, being aware of call topics to appropriately identify calls that warrant transfer to Epidemiology.
- Follow up applicable guidance calls with an email containing links to information shared; enabling callers to access current information and changes that may occur over time, that are updated on referenced websites.
- Accurately report calls in the Alchemer Survey System to ensure each call is captured for use in data reporting, to support Maricopa County Department of Public Health with community-based data.
- Support 'community engagement' with outbound call projects that promote other groups and initiatives within MCDPH. These may be immunization and 2 dose projects, promotion of MCDPH 'Strike Team' immunization events, shelter support, long-term care facility support, and other projects as they are requested of us.
- Accept additional responsibilities such as immunization record requests, CARES Team bookmark administration and processing, TTY phone inbound call management, data entry and other requirements as requested.
- Familiar with HIPAA regulations, ensuring proper handling, confidentiality, and protection of sensitive patient health information (PHI).
- Schedule many appointments and provided clear, accurate guidance and information to callers.
