A little about me

Hello! As you can see, my name is Alexia Clements. I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. I plan to attend Ivy Tech Community College to get degrees in Funeral Sciences and Psychology. I love the mental health field and have the highest amount of respect for those who work in it. I have been in the mental health system and two specific ladies come to mind that made significant changes and impacts on my life. I aspire to be able to provide that kind of care and comfort to adolescents, adults, etc. I have grown up around children my whole life, from babysitting to helping my mother raise my youngest sibling. I have always had a passion for learning and I am always craving to acquire more knowledge and understanding under my belt. I am diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was a late in life diagnosis, but I feel I knew from a young age I wasn't similar to my peers. Due to this, I switched to online school and I have excelled like never before. I appreciated you taking the time to read this and I hope to work together soon!
