  • As a studio assistant for renowned mixed-media artist and muralist William Goodman, I played a vital role in his creative process. I also supported his creative process by organizing materials, preparing canvases, and assisting with mural installations. This role provided me with invaluable insights into various mixed-media techniques and large-scale art production. Through word-of-mouth and online platforms, I successfully marketed and sold my work as well.

I also provided detailed information about vaccines, addressing common concerns and misconceptions, and highlighting their role in preventing serious illnesses. Encouraged encouraged questions and discussions, empowering the participants with knowledge to make informed decisions about their children's health.

Founder

Mississippi Community Garden
Jackson, United States of America
07.2021 - 07.2022
  • While working at the free clinic, I frequently counseled patients with diabetes and hypertension on lifestyle changes. However, I was concerned that we were asking patients to make these changes without offering practical support, as lifestyle modifications can be expensive and time-consuming. In my M4 year, I initiated a garden project to grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs, which we distribute to clinic patients every week. I fundraised the necessary money to start the garden, established the infrastructure to ensure its continuation after my graduation, and created and managed the garden throughout my M4 year. This garden still provides fresh, healthy food to Mississippi residents today.
  • This project is deeply meaningful because it provides tangible support for healthy living, addressing some practical challenges patients face. The garden still provides fresh, healthy food for patients, reinforcing my commitment to finding innovative solutions for community health and well-being.
