  • Launched new home (Summary) screen on the Northwestern Mutual mobile app. Partnered with business stakeholders, research & design, and engineering to deliver an interactive summary view and snapshot into a clients overall financial picture to include: their Northwestern Mutual (NM) Assets and Insurance products, and lead them to detailed views deeper in the app; a data visualization that tracks the growth of one's Insurance and Investment products over time; provide education on other product NM offers; and timely opportunities to connect with their advisor.
  • Increased discoverability of most frequent areas of the NM mobile app by moving them from deep within the app, and launched "Quick Actions" on the home screen. Quick Actions are tailored to various customer segments such as: Prospects, Integrated clients, payers, and consumers who own a single product type - making it easier for customer segments to complete common self-service activities within the app.
  • Increased time (days) for clients to sign documents that require electronic signature(s) by launching a new electronic signing feature (eSignature/DocuSign) on authenticated or "logged in" Northwestern Mutual site. Using this new feature, clients may easy and efficiently keep track of the status of their signature, and sign and/or download all documents which require electronic signature(s).
  • Launched an enhanced Alerts & Notifications function on both the logged-in web and mobile applications to serve as a primary means of Northwestern Mutual communicating with clients on various topics such as: Payments/Billing reminders and notices, status of Insurance applications, and Documents which require review. Using this feature, clients now have a way to view all historical notifications from NM and be able to group them into an Archive.
  • Solved navigational challenges for clients by launching a new information architecture: a primary header and secondary navigational right rail so that clients may easily find relevant experiences across the site. Increased traffic to other areas of the site by 20% on average.
  • Prioritized roadmap through utilizing direct financial advisor/field feedback, direct client feedback, customer support, and call center tickets and volumes.
