I was in marching band in high school and applied for a position on the Band Leadership Team. I ended up getting a position as a section leader for my instrument section, after doing service projects and leadership training. I had to teach my peers how to play their instrument and teach them a lot of skills used in marching band. I was also elected as the Vice President of the Band Council, where we had meetings to do fundraisers and events for the band. I was also one of the main members of my high school announcements crew for all four years I was in high school. I was on the announcements almost everyday, either in front of a camera talking to the whole school, or I was behind the scenes helping out and training new people on jobs.
