  • Took on a down-trending business at the start of 2019 and was able to achieve a Triple Crown for 2020.
  • Built a balanced assortment which was supported by Fashion/Replenishment & Promo/Clearance that followed a pricing architecture to improve overall profitability.
  • Introduced an Always On Strategy in our #1 Brand which offered a value to the customer and reduced the unprofitable clearance business. This strategy was then used across Fashion Watch Brands to drive increased results. This shift improved the total division Margin by 24%.
  • Took the Opportunity to Grow U40 Brands, within a division that already over pen% in this category. Went after the Apple Strap Business through offering Fashion from brands like Kors, Coach & KSNY. In addition, focused on the Higher Pen Brands like AX, Versus & Kors and pushed to participate in marketing & site navigation points that focused on this customer.
  • Collaborated across teams to improve customer experience in stores. This included creating events around Key Gifting time that offered engraving in select stores across key brands. We also focused on offering GWPs in brands that were less promotional, to offer that Value that the customer was looking for. Our most successful items were when we offered Gift boxes that had multiple purposes: beautiful presentation of gift, collectable & a great travel box.

  • Led the division in educating team & vendor community on utilizing financials and assortment planning tools to better strategize and drive the business. This included creating an annual Market Schedule which held vendors accountable for developing into the skus needed with a balance in newness while protecting the Core Assortment.
  • Reacted quickly to a new Category in 2018 of Gemstone Bridal which included the stackable band trend. This not only captured the bride who wanted to be unique, but also created a great gift to celebrate special events/anniversaries.
  • Utilized Style-outs to reduce duplication across non branded vendors and put a primary focus on Driving Key Brands (Effy/Levian). Identified key partners driving the volume and together we grew what was working, chased into newness and worked through exit strategies to get out of what didn’t work.
