Summary
I have been working in construction since my senior year in 2020. That experience has given me on job training and skills including working and communicating with others as well as using power tools and understanding the job that needs done. In 2022 I began construction work that included more framing and concrete. I was then offered the opportunity to go up to Alaska for the first time in 2023 to work on a tendering boat for 6 weeks in the summer which then opened another opportunity for my first welding job in Kodiak where I learned to weld using 6010 and 7018 rod and improve skills such as using a grinder. I have gone tendering once more for 3 months in the summer of 2024 and continued with on and off jobs with KPG Unlimited LLC improving my skills in not just welding stick but with dual shield, fabrication, rigging and much more.

- Worked with a group of welders and fabricators to enlarge the hull of a 100ft fishing vessel
- Executed welding of gussets for structural reinforcement utilizing 1/8 7018 rod.
- Removed old frames and pipes using a plasma torch
- Welded pad eyes to metal sheets to then come along to the shape of new existing frames
- Repaired rusted sections in fish hold walls using wedges and heels to fit new sheet used for the patch
- Assisted in the installation of a new RSW system
- Measured, cut, and beveled pipe
- Welded stainless pipe to fish hold walls using 309L rod
- Clocked, Squared, Leveled and Welded flanges to pipe
- Used Dual Shield to weld new frame to deck that was built for a net drum
