I am a current K-8 Art Teacher at my first teaching job at a charter school in Hamtramck, where I have resided since March of 2021. I am a professional artist, with teacher certification in Art, and am licensed in Michigan. I work hard to integrate art history from around the world into lesson plans in order to encourage students to widen their horizons. With my expertise in drawing and painting, I have created numerous engaging projects for my students of all grades using familiar materials, and more. I am genuinely dedicated to differentiating learning processes to promote individualized growth through providing prompts, but listening to and engaging in student ideas.
