Alexis Moore

My name is Alexis Anja Moore. I currently attend Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington as a sophomore and a rising junior. I have many commitments academically and in extracurricular activities, striving to finish these activities and reach my goals. I do not have any job experience in the past, but I have been a teen volunteer in July and August of 2025 for Seattle Parks and Recreation to earn volunteer hours for my school's graduation requirements.

Currently, I am participating in Seattle's Urban League Scholars Connections program for my school to earn more volunteer hours and to work with my peers in the community. My extracurricular activities consist of playing the violin and karate and I have been doing these activities for several years. As a teenager, I continually explore new opportunities and experiences to build my character to improve my relationship with my peers and people around me.

I want to apply for a job at Trader Joes' to gain a job experience while in high school. I also want to work with other people, especially in sales and customer service. Most importantly, I also want to save money to buy a used car. I chose Trader Joe's for my first job application because I enjoy shopping at your store and I find the people working there as very determined and committed to their jobs, therefore I want to be a part of this extraordinary crew. My preferred location to work would be at the Capitol Hill since I live close.
