- Patient evaluation: perform initial patient assessments and follow up exams for screening and detection of various skin cancers and skin disorders.
- Assist in Mohs surgery as primary role, preparing patients for their procedure, identification of surgical site, assist in Mohs layers and achieving hemostasis, and assist in all closures.
- Performs shave biopsies, punch biopsies, wide local excisions, and cryotherapy treatments.
- Provides post-operative instructions and manage any post-operative complication or concern.
- Continuing education: regularly attends dermatology and dermoscopic conferences to remain up to date on most current practices.
