As an Integrated Science Education student with a Biology concentration at Miami University, I am passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. My experience as a Summer School Teacher at the Center for Urban Teaching, Inc. involved intensive training in building positive school cultures, implementing high-performance instructional strategies, and fostering character development. I am adept at leading students and developing data-driven lessons that promote engagement and purpose. My research at the Hefner Natural History Museum includes detailed osteological studies, successfully identifying unknown bovine skeletal remains through comparative anatomical and osteometric methods. I also developed an educational lesson plan on skeletal anatomy and species identification, integrating scientific inquiry and interactive learning. My time at Bauer Lab provided hands-on experience with bench protocol, PCR, gel electrophoresis, spectrometry, and data collection and analysis. These experiences, combined with strong people skills gained from retail and the food industry, position me as a dedicated educator and researcher.
