Graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University - New Brunswick with a major in History and Political Science and a minor in Economics. In school I developed robust public speaking, writing, and presentation skills. My focus in school was on law and criminal justice issues. I took several courses on the interactions between the legal system and wider society. In those courses I also developed legal drafting skills and a familiarity with both criminal law and civil law procedures.
During my education I held an internship position as an intelligence analyst with the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis. In that position I developed intelligence writing and analysis skills as well as experience in the operation of executive branch agencies. The position required extensive research and drafting skills, ensuring that all relevant information was available. The balancing of my work with my education required diligent time management and multitasking to ensure the quality of both my academic and professional work.
I have personal experience with AI and large language models from hobbyist usage since the technology was in its infancy.
