- Built fencing to expand upon the farm, and make it easier to transport the animals from one pen to another.
- Operated heavy machinery, such as tractors, to fulfill tasks, such as transportation and mowing the fields.
- Participated in general farm maintenance, such as weed-whacking, cutting the grass, repairing buildings, maintaining equipment, and feeding and taking care of the animals.

- Maintained the grounds through mowing, weed-whacking, cutting trees, clearing brush, raking leaves, laying stone, and organizing the barns.
- A big part of the job was interacting with and providing spiritual guidance to the children whom the camp was serving. These children, coming from urban and typically underprivileged settings, were made to feel the love of Christ that many of them had been previously denied. Everybody, even the maintenance men, were a big part of that.
- Fixing elements of the camp that had been broken was an integral part of this position. This included pipes, fencing, wood that had chipped off the cabins, and filling in potholes that had developed in the gravel lane.
