Internships

Throughout my six-week 2021 summer internship at Cooper University Hospital, I had the honor of working with Lisa Laphan-Morad, the Vice President of Graduate Medical Education and the Cooper Research Institute. Those 32 hours in tandem with Cooper GME (Graduated Medical Education) leaders were spent importing human research case studies into data systems with Jim Baca, the Director of Stimulation Operations at Cooper Medical School,

and the head of HRPP (Human Research Protection Program), learning about the practical experiences that medical students engage in to enhance and advance their clinical skills

Volunteer Experience

Cathedral Kitchen transforms lives by using food to support, educate, and provide jobs for people who are trying to better their circumstances in life. They consistently strive to nourish and energize a wholesome community and give Camden's underprivileged citizens wholesome meals. By examining the community members' specific abilities, interests, and capabilities, I was able to find acceptable employment for them. Over the years, volunteering

has taught me the importance of empathy and how my unique skills may serve my community. Along with learning from industry experts, it has given me the opportunity to pursue my personal interests and potential career route.
