Currently moving 575 loads a month. Taught shippers how to maximize the amount of freight by effectively teaching them how to load said freight and by teaching them how to package freight to allow a cross dock operation to take place.

Maintain a good relationship and establish a seamless communication gateway between the customer, our agent, the carrier and the shipper.

Negotiate contract rate on the Mexico side to provide our customers a stable rate for the lane. Analyze, assign and prioritize lanes by carrier and equipment to pair each of them to maximize the service on each load.

SME in developing a new system which allows our customers to rate through an automated system at the tip of their fingers, this same system can execute booking, tracking, and delivery. To amplify the effectiveness I was also part of developing a YMS; automated notifications can be sent to anyone, trailer is able to be tracked down to the slot.

Recently became a Certified Customs Export Specialist, studying to get certified as an Import Specialist before taking the Customs Broker test.

• Perform 17 point inspection on in-bound and out-bound trailers coming through the facility.
• Receiving documents and handing documents to drivers in-bound and out-bound.
• Reporting damages to trailer maintenance and in-house vendor.
• Updating yard management systems (TIMS/Exotrac)
• Perform yard check to maintain YMS up-to-date.

Evaluated customer desires and budgetary constraints to pick best policies.

Performed trailer 17 point inspection, directly reported any issues on the equipment to maintenance department. 

Moderate knowledge on trailer maintenance to repair basic repairs on trailers. 

Worked closely with out HQ in Byron, MI to dispatch freight into the US. 

Developed a yard management system to help reduce trailer turn around times by 15%, yard placement, route knowledge and driver routing all set up as a single part of the operation to reduce idle times. 

Informed customers on billing procedures, processed payments and provided assistance to set up payment options.
