Core Fishing & Milling Operations

• Executed complex downhole fishing operations to successfully retrieve stuck, lost, or damaged equipment (the "fish") from the wellbore, significantly minimizing rig downtime and financial loss.
• Selected, assembled, and deployed specialized downhole tools, including overshots, spears, grapples, washpipes, and milling shoes, based on specific wellbore conditions and the nature of the obstruction.
• Conducted highly technical milling operations to grind down junk or cement in the hole, ensuring a clear path for future wellbore interventions.

Reverse Unit & Equipment Operation

• Operated and maintained reverse circulation units, power swivels, and high-pressure mud pumps to effectively circulate fluids and clear debris from the well.
• Calculated and managed fluid hydraulics, pump rates, and string weights to maintain optimal downhole conditions during recovery operations.
• Performed rigorous pre-job and post-job inspections, maintenance, and redressing of both surface equipment and downhole fishing tools.

Safety, Leadership & Well Control

• Maintained strict well control by closely monitoring well pressures, fluid returns, and blowout preventer (BOP) equipment during high-risk intervention operations.
• Collaborated directly with the Company Man and rig crew to assess downhole problems, develop strategic recovery plans, and execute them safely.
• Led daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and strictly adhered to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, ensuring a safe work environment during hazardous operations.

Rig Operations and Well Maintenance

• Operated and maneuvered well service rigs to safely and efficiently perform completions, routine maintenance, and complex workover operations on active oil and gas wells.
• Ran and pulled sucker rods, production tubing, and downhole pumps, resolving wellbore issues and successfully restoring or optimizing production rates.
• Safely rigged up and rigged down the workover unit and associated surface equipment, including guy lines, hydraulic catwalks, and wellhead configurations.

Equipment Handling & Well Control

• Operated auxiliary equipment, including power tongs, mud pumps, and hydraulic winches, ensuring smooth trips in and out of the hole.
• Installed and tested Blowout Preventers (BOPs) prior to well entry, maintaining strict well control and monitoring wellbore pressures throughout operations.
• Conducted routine preventative maintenance and daily inspections on the rig carrier, hoisting systems, and handling tools to eliminate mechanical failures and minimize downtime.

Safety & Team Leadership

• Mentored and directed Floorhands and Derrickhands during fast-paced operations, ensuring all crew members executed tasks safely and efficiently.
• Led daily tailgate safety meetings and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), identifying potential hazards and enforcing strict compliance with OSHA and company HSE protocols.
