• Developed and maintained three critical microservices for the NEMO project, including a parser, validator, and orchestrator, optimizing credit card transaction processing and system reliability, it uses microservice architecture and frameworks like Spring and Vert.X and a Cucumber testing service that does end-to-end automation tests.
• Collaborated with product managers and stakeholders to enable partial authorization of credit card transactions, allowing customers to pay a portion of their purchases upfront while deferring the remaining balance. This initiative addressed a critical customer need for flexible payment options and improved the user experience, resulting in a 14% revenue increase, and uses digital products to determine eligibility for use.
• Led SE Alias feature, which involved working closely with product owners to gather requirements and implement digital products and solutions to convert partner-provided service establishment numbers into Amex-approved numbers. This initiative processes over 20,000 transactions daily, reducing error rates by 29%, and allows alphanumeric, special character, and any length third party numbers, thereby integrating numerous third party merchants into the payment network.
