As a cybersecurity Intern/Trainee at Hemaya, I underwent hands on training and practical exposure to core cybersecurity principles and defensive technologies. The program focused on cultivating foundational and technical expertise in threat detection, security risk management, and incident response.

• Gained in depth understanding of information security concepts, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA triad).
• Learned how to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Worked with tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and basic intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Development skills in secure network configuration, access control, and basic cryptography.
