• This initiative is run by WIMSA (Women Institute of the Mathematical Sciences of the Americas) to increase awareness and interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and by extension, increasing interest in future career options in STEM-related occupations. The organization partners with public and private schools in Miami-Dade County to provide advanced math classes for university credit. These courses are by invitation only and are aimed to develop conceptual mathematical thinking, as well as analytical skills.

• The Giving Table is a community service club where Miami Country Day Students gather to serve the greater South Florida community. Through our club, we make connections with underserved populations empowering others to foster and optimize the human experience. We strive to share our privilege and support others by helping them meet their basic needs. Our purpose is clear: The Giving Table will respect the dignity of others, will have compassion and empathy, and will collaborate while making an impact on society. In addition to helping underserved populations, The Giving Table strives to raise awareness to the Miami Country Day student body while serving as a model for other schools to follow.
