  • Work directly with the counselors to have the school at a 90% attendance rating
  • If these students are not in class, I would make a phone call home to find out why they are not in class and if necessary, pick them up at home and bring them to school
  • Work with the extreme students and call them each morning to make sure they are on their way to school if not I will go get them at home
  • During lunch with an extreme diabetic student to count her carbs and make sure she is taking the correct amount of insulin
  • I also administer her Lantus shot which is a once a day shot.
