Experience coaching K-5 teachers in selecting the best practices for classroom instruction and management. Knowledge in creating and delivering professional development for teachers, as well as parent education. I worked as the English Language Site Coordinator, supporting teachers with strategies for EL learners in the classroom, coordinating ELPAC assessment. Provided training to increase in EL student reclassification. I worked as the ELAC coordinator for our site, providing support for families of ELL students.

Served as a mentor and coach to multiple beginning teachers in grades K-5 for over 15 years. Provide new teachers with support planning lessons, best classroom practices, self-reflection using the state of California's Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment induction program.

Provided general education and music education instruction to migrant students. Coordinated students and parents in participation in extracurricular instructional programs.

Instructed students in K-5 grades in bilingual and regular education classrooms. Served as team leader for kindergarten and first grades, facilitating PLC meetings, and serving on several school site's leadership teams. Worked with school site staff to implement best practices for differentiated instruction for inner city K-5 students.

I served as a bilingual teacher with second-grade students in a farming community. Worked with the staff to provide effective instruction and increase parent participation in school activities.
