Summary
I am passionate about practicing nursing is such a way as to give patients exceptional care and show compassion. I have always dreamed of becoming a nurse. I became a mother early in life, but consider myself extremely blessed to have been able to stay home and care for my children for the past 16 years. Recently, I have been thrilled to finally be able to pursue nursing as a career. Working in the Mother Baby Unit as a Nurse Extern has been an amazing experience and I would love to be able to continue this nursing journey in the Graduate Program on this unit. I also believe that my life experiences allow me to better empathize with my patients. To me, this "job" is so much more than work, it is an opportunity to serve others through skill, care, and compassion. I look forward to continuing to partner with LVHN.
