-Triage patients over the phone, escalate care as needed to physicians

-Do all H and P’s for the physician procedures as well as coordinate care afterwards

-Manage in basket work for our team which is 6 physicians and 2 APPs

-Perform nurse visits for a multitude of different reasons including EKGs, groin checks, 6 minute walks etc

• Work with all Kaiser Pulmonologist and National Jewish Pulmonologist
• Obtain basic assessment, coordinate care with anesthesia and surgeon
• Assure airway is stable, monitor vital signs pain control and surgical incisions
• Education on post op instructions and medication
• Provide care to critically ill patients
• Obtain physical assessment, vital signs and communicate with multidisciplinary team
• Able to work with IABP, ECMO RN, ECMO pump, Impella, CRRT and other life savings measures
• Telemetry proficient
• Charge Nurse and Preceptor responding to codes, rapid responses and stroke alerts

• Obtain basic assessment, place IV and go over history
• Recover a wide variety of patients including OBGYN, urology, orthopedics including total joints, ENT, general surgery and GI
• Work directly with Surgeons and Anesthesiologist
