Dynamic leader with a strong work ethic and safety awareness, I excelled at Maersk Warehouse by enhancing team performance through effective training and communication. My commitment to fostering a positive work environment led to increased employee retention and improved client satisfaction, showcasing my problem-solving abilities and dedication to teamwork.
As a lead, I always put my team first. I make sure everyone is supported and has what they need to do their job effectively. Whether it's my GLs, operators, or clerks, I'm always willing to helo and ensure they're taken care of. Communication is one of my top priorties-I keep an open line with my team to quickly address and resolve any issues that arise. I'm committed to going above and beyond so that everyone can go home safe and unharmed, just as they came to work.
I work with Staffing Alternative for few weeks because Maersk let go of the agency I was with, while Maersk was processing my conversion to the Maersk Warehouse company.
I also took on more than just clerk responsibilities because I wanted to gain additional work experience and understand how different parts of the operation work. While at SAV6, I was trained to operate the robot arm and ensure it was running properly while unloading boxes. I learned how to troubleshoot and restart the robot when the arm went down. I often assisted the general labor (GLs) by helping load trailers when they were backed up, ensuring the workflow stayed on track. I would also load trailers without assigned GLs when the converter was running again. Additionally, I supported the other lead by helping prevent the converter from getting jammed due to the buildup of boxes.
