Working with the Student Study Team to monitor students’ who may need additional intervention or accommodations for educational success. Conducting assessments on students who have been referred for testing due to suspicion of a disability. Professional knowledge and use of a range of standardized assessment tools for testing. Work with IEP team in determining qualification for special education services to develop an appropriate placement recommendation (LRE), goals and objectives for the service. Be informed of and implement federal and state laws, education code, and Etiwanda School District policies and procedures. Overall, addressing students needs academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally by implementing strategies, accommodations, and monitoring their success. Working with students by conducting check-ins and/or small group counseling.
