Summary

I'd love to tell you a little about myself.

I grew up spending summers in the salmon capital of the world, Campbell River on the south end of the discovery passage. I was taught by my papa at 9 years old how to catch, clean, and cook salmon we caught. That being said, I spent a lot of time learning about the wild life, fishing, and gained so much knowledge about the entire area.

I recently won first place for best nature photographer in two magazines.

The happiness I feel when Im taking photos, talking to locals or tourists, is a feeling of pure bliss. That is why I know im perfect for this opportunity. I follow safety guidelines, I love to share my knowledge of photography, and adventure is middle name :)

I have the great ability of the gift of gab which will come in handy talking to anyone or answering any questions about photography, wildlife, or share information about wildlife that im very familiar with. (I already have ideas!) I hope to get the job, I will not let you down.

Accomplishments

    This year I received 3 awards, 2 best nature photographer and one for best artist. Ive been an employee at santa cruz waves for 5 years which has made me accustom to shooting surfing competitions, or a mellow sunset. I also thrive and love to capture moments of people laughing and having fun. I also have the ability to make people feel comfortable which is very important.

    On any night, you can find me on a fishing boat, hiking in my fishing boots to get sunset photos, or flying in tiny airplanes to shoot aerial photographs.
