Core member in developing and implementing a hospital wide process for decreasing the amount of time an admitted patient spent in the ED once a ready bed was available for them. Decreased the amount of time the patient spent in the ED during this specific time frame by 60%
  • Designed and implemented an OB alert: 2009-2013. Worked closely with manager of labor and delivery unit to form a rapid response team that would respond to the ED in the event of an obstetrical emergency
  • HIV testing: 2009-2013. Worked with medical director to implement free HIV testing for patients with direct follow up with the health department. In turn, resulting in at least one to two positive results per month that would not have been previously diagnosed and treated
