C.I.T stands for counselor in training. during the summer of 2023 I became a C.I.T for YMCA Camp Campbell. I had 4 weeks of training which required me to be around other counselors and campers. the first two weeks of my training was learning how to deal with different scenarios involving with campers. The last two weeks I would be place with a cabin with campers and one counselor. I would be working with the counselor to make sure our cabin is staying on schedule and taking care of our campers. It was a really great experience and gave me the opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends.
