Throughout a 20 year construction career that started as a laborer and worked my way up to being a project manager I learned many valuable skills and lots of knowledge both on the field side and in the office. I think having the background as an operator has been instrumental in my success as a scheduler and now as a project manager.
As a scheduler I coordinated equipment moves and scheduled hundreds of millions of dollars of projects making sure all vital tools to complete the jobs where available. Keeping all schedules on task to hit completion dates, working with superintendents, project managers, and all senior leadership.
Currently in my short project management career I have managed several projects valuing anywhere from five hundred thousand to several million. Coordinating all aspects of these projects. I have built roads from the ground up including excavating, milling, grading and paving. Having learned lots of skills and knowledge along this journey that allowed me to be successful in my short project management career. I feel with willingness to learn new things I will bring value to table and the hard work it takes to make this new chapter of my career a successful one.
