
As a Leader in the Future Voyages Sales department I am not only in charge of strategies to increase sales but also to keep my team motivated throughout the voyages and as well provide constant coaching and development to my peers. I have experience in appraisals, Individual Development Plans and also participated in every training I could with our Training & Development Manager onboard.
My favorite part of the job as I mentioned before is to be able to inspire people through their journey onboard, always encouraging them to find their passion and keep our standards when it comes to providing excellent customer service.
I have to maintain a strong relationship with the senior leaders from all departments since we need support to promote our offers and also to keep our creed of Family Love up and running! Every time there is a change in itineraries or onboard deal, I always make sure to settle training with Sailor Services, Spa, Retail, Beverage, Restaurant and so on. I have also partnered with our Hotel Service Training this contract to introduce the onboard offer overview in our Ship Guru training.
During my career at Future Voyages I have also built many presentations to the public (Sailors and Travel Agents) and came up with fun ideas to run our events onboard and keep our sailors interested (raffles, interactive questions, games, etc). As practically a Brand Ambassador to our ship, I am immersed into the Virgin way and have knowledge about how other departments' operations work, which helps me in the career I am pursuing.
