Responsibilities include -
Performed inspections, repairs, and new system installations for restaurant hood fire suppression systems. Managed customer tickets to ensure inspections were completed on time. Inspected portable fire extinguishers as well as performed shop work services as recharges, 6-year and hydrotest maintenance on extinguishers. Performed full system trip tests to ensure proper electrical and mechanical functions took place. Verified proper detection and discharge coverage was present for existing cooking equipment. Instructed customers on use of systems as well as overall purpose. Conducted Fire Marshal testing for system acceptance. Serviced system chemical cylinders with 6-year (dry-pressurized) and hydrotest (wet/dry) maintenance. Upheld good customer service.
