While working at Dog Culture for a little over a year, I began as a Dog Daycare Attendant and became promoted to Shift Lead. I then got cross trained to become the Front receptionist. I did a multitude of tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe space for the pups, creating a bond with pet parents and learning more about dog behaviors. I was taught how to properly stop different scuffles, watch out for certain signals, prepare food and medication to avoid any mistakes.
While working at Brushy Creek Elementary I learned multiple skills including, observing and monitoring children's play activities to promote healthy, safe environment. I also developed strong relationships with students, fostering a positive classroom environment for proper learning. Prepared after-school enrichment activities for children to encourage student participation.
