Experience

  • MLT internship: During the final semester of my MLT certification, I got the opportunity to intern at Fairview Range Hospital and Essentia Health Clinic. I had a great experience with all the staff at both sites, reinforcing the skills I learned in school. These rotations had me work in all departments of the lab, including phlebotomy, specimen processing, point of care testing, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, urine analysis, and more.
  • Teen center attendant: Over the summer of 2025 I took care of the local teen center, in this position I maintained the building and watched over the local teenagers when they visited. This included cleaning, hosting events, and often engaging with many of the kids and teenagers who visited.
  • Waitress: I was a waitress over the summer of 2025 at the local tavern allowing me to gain plenty of customer service experience and multitasking abilities.
  • Babysitting: I have been caring for groups of children for years. This required multitasking, planning activities, and watching over several people at once with care and diligence.
  • Speech Judge: Worked with my local high school’s speech team as a judge. This required keeping professionalism and organization while I observed and ranked out competitors in this art form.
  • Assistant manager: I have been a big part of planning in the theater community from doing costume and prop inventory, helping set up and take down the sets for shows, and doing makeup for the cast.
  • Assistant coach: Volunteered for local high school speech team. This required me to keep track of groups of 2-8 people at a time, coaching people to be confident with their voices, and have great team leader skills.
