Back up Operator

Stickermule LLC
Gaffney, SC

  • I inspect stickers for any kinda imperfection, and if they are within shipping quality, I rip them in stacks of 50 and take them to be shrink wrapped before being sent to the shipping department.
  • As an auto ripper operator, I load the machines and make sure that stay running. I make minor adjustments when needed. Remove the stickers once they come out and stack them correctly. At that point I get them ready for shipping.
  • I receive the orders from the shrink wrappers to be shipped. I check the quality and quantity of the order to make sure they are correct. Once that step is completed I package the orders to company standard. I print out a label and move the package to it's designated area.

QC Technician

AFL-Duncan-SC
Duncan, SC
07.2022 - 03.2023
  • As a QC tech of a fiber optic company, the first thing I do is inspect the reel and cable to look for defects, then I check the paperwork and make sure the job number in the folder matches the job number on the cable.
  • Once I finish the first step I start to print the paper work that needs the be put in the folder which is to be filed once I'm finished testing the cable.
  • When I finish the second step I log into the testing website and I start to take measurements with the caliper, once I'm finished with the measurements I get it down to the fibers where I count and clean them.
  • The fiber count can vary from small numbers to a large number, but once I'm finished testing all the fibers I cut samples for the folder then I put caps on the end and wrap the reel up and if it tested good I print out the shipping labels and send it to be ship but if the cable or reel has any defects it is wrote up and reviewed by a manager or team lead.

Winder Operator

Interkraft SC LLC
White Stone, SC
11.2021 - 07.2022
  • I would run the waxer machine that would turn one big roll of printed paper for a company into a smaller rolls. They would be stack on a pallet, once the pallet was full, I would take the pallet to be weighed by forklift and wrapped in plastic, then I would move it to the warehouse until it was ready to be shipped.
  • I would prep the paper that was going to be run depending on the job. Once I was finished prepping I would load the paper into the back of the machine after putting a shaft into the tube and adding air, then I would use a crane/hoist to load the paper on dollies, so it could be moved forward and bumped into the paper already running to keep the machine running.
