Management liaison on evening shift for Law Enforcement Support Branch, other contract departments and ATF staff. Oversee multiple groups and assist in specialty duties in Law Enforcement Support Branch consisting of Comprehensive Tracing Group, Stolen Firearms, and Firearms Service Section. Perform daily duties of Research Assistant I.

• Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Perform Law Enforcement Traces. Contact agencies and abide by company polices to request if farther information is needed.
• Train, support and perform quality control/rechecks on lower staff within LESB.
• Delivering high-quality customer service for law enforcement and ATF agents while resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain open lines of communication with team members for effective collaboration on common goals.
• Organize team-building events to foster camaraderie, enhancing interpersonal relationships within the group.

Manage daily operations to ensure a high level of efficiency, consistency, and quality in both food and service. Provide excellent customer service while managing the front of house. Respond quickly to needs of customers to ensure a safe and pleasurable atmosphere.

• Handling simultaneous customer, team, and business needs while avoiding unnecessary delays or errors.
• Manage cash handling duties responsibly, ensuring accurate accounting at the end of each shift.
• Performing opening and closing duties, printing sales reports, setting up for incoming shift, preparing cash drawers, and taking inventory.
• Managed bar inventory, restocked supplies and placed orders for spirits, beer, wines, and mixers.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing excessive guest intoxication.

Assists the Law Enforcement community with firearm identification and trace issues by answering administrative emails and phone calls. Extensive knowledge of firearms, firearm industry including current laws to accurately answer Law Enforcement's inquiries. Perform quality control and correct submitted weapon error traces.

• Perform error resolution on traces by correcting and validating retained traces submitted via eTrace.
• Provided technical firearms information to fellow employees, industry members and the Law Enforcement community via phone, email and face-to-face contact.
• Research firearms and federal firearm licensee information utilizing several databases including Firearms Tracing System, Firearms Licensing System, Microsoft office products, Oracle Discoverer and the Internet.
• Queried and analyzed tracing data, using Oracle Discoverer, to assist in firearms identification by identifying trends and recognizing serial number patterns.
• Represented the contract ATF Support Group in a contract focus group, which addressed various issues, in hopes to improve the tracing process and employee morale.
• Worked with duplicate tracing, determining the type of duplicate trace, solving any firearm discrepancy and if needed, contacting the Law Enforcement requestors to ensure an undercover case was not jeopardized before processing the trace.

Performed daily research and memorize extensive information to confirm given information for firearms were correct including: manufacturer, type, caliber, model, serial number, importer, county of origin and other markings on the weapon.

• Improved data accuracy by diligently maintaining records and updating information in multiple databases.

• Performed tracing for the Demand program by contacting retail Federal Firearm Licensees, via phone or email, in order to obtain purchaser information.
• Developed a comprehensive training subject matter and organized written instructions to be used as a future guideline for position.
