Promoted effective verbal and written communication through listening, speaking, reading and writing practice.

Prepared and implemented lesson plans covering required course topics.

Spearheaded the start of AVID in 2008, which grew from one AVID Elective class to schoolwide participation. We earned an AVID School of Distinction Award and were very close to becoming an AVID Demonstration School.

I was also responsible for creating & implementing a semester long PreAVID class for sixth graders that had multiple sections in my school and also expanded to another middle school in our district.
