RN in PRE-OP, PACU, POST-OP area. Duties include serving as charge nurse for the department, prepping patients for surgery, peripheral nerve blocks, precepting new employees and making daily assignments.

As a CTVU nurse I cared for patients with life threatening cardiovascular conditions and fresh CABG patients. This all included managing multiple drips, managing vents and vent care, and managing CRRT. My responsibilities also included helping families navigate daily care, and establishing a plan for long term healing.
