Allison Imburgio

· Care of critically-ill pediatric patients and their families in an intensive care unit focusing on neurology and neurosurgical patients, orthopedic surgical patients, and patients with trauma-related injuries

· Initiate and maintain the use of advanced treatment modalities for medically complex patients, such as CRRT and intracranial pressure monitoring

· Collaborate extensively with multiple interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care activities, treatments, and diagnostic testing

· Cared for critically-ill adult patients, aged 25-50, during the COVID-19 pandemic in March through June of 2020 to assist in alleviating burden of COVID-19 positive patients on the hospital system

· Began nursing career as a part of New York-Presbyterian's new graduate nurse residency program

· Managed maternal and newborn care in the postpartum period

· Educated patients in newborn care throughout inpatient care and during discharge

· Managed newborn and maternal emergency care
