• Secured Increased Funding: Worked with legislative leaders to achieve significant increases in SNF Medicaid reimbursement and the Family Care Direct Care Workforce Funding Initiative across two consecutive state budgets.
• Revived Workforce Development Program: Partnered with agency leaders to resurrect the WisCaregiver Careers Program, strengthening pathways for certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and addressing workforce shortages in long-term care.
• Optimized Medicaid Funding Allocation: Engaged in Medicaid Methods of Implementation discussions to ensure appropriate funds were directed to specific cost centers, improving financial sustainability and service delivery.
• Federal Advocacy: Worked with Wisconsin's congressional delegation to advance key Alzheimer's-related policies, contributing to the unanimous passage of the NAPA Reauthorization Act, Alzheimer's Accountability and Investment Act (AAIA), and BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act Reauthorization at the federal level. Successfully advocated for and supported efforts to increase NIH funding for Alzheimer's and dementia research and to ensure continued funding for the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act to strengthen public health initiatives.

I currently serve as President of Wisconsin Women in Government. Previously served as Vice President, Member-at-Large, and Chair of the Communications Committee.

• Lead and manage a 23-person Board of Directors. Oversee governance and operations, delegating work to committees, and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Direct statewide programming and fundraising efforts, overseeing multiple annual events—including a Gala, networking sessions, and mentorship events—that engage hundreds of professionals and policymakers.
